FREE Compost still Available
There is still quite a lot of FREE compost available in the Paddock Car Park Bay 5/6 of Alexandra Park. Bring a shovel and help yourselves.
Fortunately there is an event going on at Ally Pally so the Paddock car park will be open from Monday to Thursday this week.

That's interesting. I made three visits there on Sunday with the help of a friend and came away each time with six 80 litre trugs full of compost. I shall need to prepare some beds in the garden to receive more but I shall try to do this and then make a further visit on Thursday. Rain tomorrow will probably make the compost a bit heavier to shift.
It's easier with a helper so if anyone wants some compost and is available on Thursday to help, let me know.

Has anyone noticed whether there is any left? I expect not as I know it normally goes pretty fast.

There was still quite a bit when I left around 4pm on Thursday. I doubt whether it will be easy to get access now until after the fireworks.
