Some chemists/pharmacists are also able to administer the 'flu' jab, if this is more accessible!

You can get a 'flu jab in Arena Sainsbury's

Do those who've had them find them effective?

I have already had 'flu this autumn and had it 4 or 5 times last year. Quite keen not to repeat the experience...

There's some formal guidelines on :
http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/vaccinations/Pages/flu-influenza-vacci...
If a GP assesses a person is eligible, the jab is administered on NHS prescription.
Hope this is useful.
I booked an appointment at our GP (Bridge House) for my 4yo, but when we showed up they said they didn't have it yet. They still haven't called us yet. Anyone had better luck with their GP?
I went to boots in Muswell hill and the pharmacist did it immediately without an appointment. As I'm only 61 I had to pay but only £12.99 and if it prevents flu, well worth it!
