Bethany - does there exist a list of clergy at St Paul's?  My mother had a signed photograph in the 40s of a good-looking fellow smoking a pipe.  Though I once knew his name I have now forgotten but I feel he may have been famous.

Yes - there's one inside the church.  I'll try to remember to take a picture of it tomorrow morning.

Thanks Bethany!  He may have been the vicar who baptized me.  I'd take a photo myself but I would need a long-distance lens as I live in Hong Kong

 - funnily enough, the last vicar, Fr. Robert Martin, also lives in Hong Kong. He moved there in 2010.

There are also some pictures of former vicars in the sacristy, so I'll try to take pics of the ones from that time as well, as it might help with matching up to your chap.

Oh, I see Fr. Martin now on the HK church website.  He is at Emmanuel Church, Pokfulam, which is the sister church of St John's Cathedral.  What a coincidence!  I'll have to talk to him one day about St Paul's.

Well, I've just dug out my baptism certificate.  It is dated Sunday March 15th 1942 and signed by John T W Orme, Curate.  I don't think he is the fellow in the photo though.
