Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Got the wee niece and nephew (5 and 3) staying and wondering whether the Pirate's Playhouse makes a good afternoon out? Anyone got any views?

Not sure what you mean by the Pirate's Playhouse, but Little Dinosaurs in Ally Pally is the go-to cold weather soft play option for toddlers and babies around these parts.

Hi rosy - I much prefer the wood green soft play to pirates playhouse - it's huge and doesn't get as busy. It's called kidz adventure zone and just off mayes rd behind shopping city. Little dinos is nice too, and better food and coffee, bit often very busy.

Pirates playhouse is really big compared to little dinos, which I favour too. That means older children and you need to keep a more attentive eye in case of frictions. When I've been there toilets were not that terribly clean (put your shoes back on)

I prefer Little Dinos, mainly because it's in the park and the food and coffee is really good compared to the other local softplay places. As an adult this is the one I enjoy sitting in, it has windows and a play area outside and my children really like it.

I think the play area in the Pirate place is a bit bigger than Little Dinos and my children like going there, they also like Kidszone in Wood Green but we always go there in the morning when I think it's a bit quieter.

Thanks folks - sounds like Pirate's Playhouse should wait until they're a bit bigger. Thanks for the alternative suggestions.

The Pirate Playhouse is a must!! We took out 19 month girlie there last week and she loved it!! You can acompany your nephews wherever they go if you want to and go on the slides with them. Its so much fun and a real treat. Hope you enjoy!!

I always use pirates playhouse, its not as clean as adventure zone but there are no session times so u can stay all day and my ones love it. Staff are friendly as well.
