Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Anyone got any tomato plants or any other kind of veg seedlings going spare at all? I got off to a slow start this year and missed a bit of a window...

I might be able to swap for some sunflower seedlings I have got going.

Hi Justin,

I have a couple of extra yellow courgette seedlings I've grown from seed. I keep on reading about how prolific they are once they get going, so I don't think I'll want to plant out as many as I currently have. Message me if you're interested. I think you're on my contacts list.

My tommy seeds aint started yet.....its only been over 3 weeks :(

My idea was just to give seedings away, locally

That does not sound good.... Looks like you are in the same boat I am!

My lovely Russian neighbour was trying to give me some at the weekend. I declined. Next time I see her, I'll ask if the offer's still good.

Good man! Thanks Hugh.

Happy to share with Colin if he is coming up short!

There is to be a community sale held on Sunday 9th June at the Seven Sisters market from 11am- 4pm.  It is right next to Seven Sisters underground station, near the Latino cafes. You should be able to get something there at a bargain price.

They usually have an interesting selection of edible plants and herbs for sale. As well as plants for the house and garden plus some pots.  At the last sale I picked up load of freshly cut herbs as well as quite a few old variety garden plants.

I think many of the plants must come from old established Victorian gardens and bought along by the current owners.

They also have books and miscellaneous bring and buy stalls and all for the local Wards Corner fund raising which is such a worthy cause.

The Pueblito Paisa cafe is worth popping into for delicious Colombian coffee and snacks.

Thanks for the tip, but sadly I am away this weekend...

Saw then down on Green Lanes for a quid yesterday - Lynbo I think.

Will check it out, thanks
