Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!


Thanks to Geoff Dent for contributing this photo. It shows his father's class in West Green Primary circa 1920.  Geoff's father is 3rd from the left seated on the bench. His name was Tom Dent. Goeff tells us that he lived in Woodlands Park Rd for most of his life although he was probably resident in Culross Road when this photo was taken.

If Ted Willis was in that class so was my uncle, Fred Lamb.All my mum's family went there, They lived in Culross Road. I grew up in Terront Road and my sister and I went there as well in the 60s and early 70s.

My Dad and his brother went there, circa 1910-30 ?

Then my older Brother c. 1945-50.

name of  Shulver,  living in Stanley Road.
